Join us for the next event in our Saturday Academy Series (SAS), a new division of ISA purposed with providing saxophone students in middle and high school, primarily, with high caliber live saxophone instruction in a group lesson setting. The Intermediate events typically introduce a major topic such as embouchure, tonguing, air support, and so forth, in order to teach or reinforce proper musical habits. The Advanced events are an extension, taking the daily topic further and offering a faster-paced learning environment.
All are welcome to attend to get a feel for the right level! Typically, middle school and early high school students will feel comfortable in the Intermediate classes, and exceptional high school and early college students will fit into the Advanced SAS classes.
Bring your saxophone! These events are interactive! (Participation is NOT required, but our artists can help you grow more if you join in.)
Today's Topic: Training your body to play the saxophone - posture, hand positioning, efficiency of movement, and more!
