Gary Louie - Carmen Fantasy

Gary Louie, saxophone professor at the Peabody Institute, joins ISA for a presentation on Bizet’s Carmen, and the version from his 2009 recording with the St. Petersburg State Academic Orchestra, which is quite different than the version by François Borne more commonly heard. Join us as we discuss the work and explore the many different options for saxophonists.
